Moving Services on the Moving Help Marketplace

  • Loading &
    Unloading

Service Providers can load all your items in your home and into the U-Haul truck rental. Our Service Providers can also unload all your items out of the U-Haul truck rental and into your new home. Even better, they can place furniture and moving boxes exactly where you want them. Loading or unloading for two Service Providers for two hours is the most common service booked on the Moving Help Marketplace.

  • Packing &
    Unpacking

Our Moving Helpers are capable of either packing or unpacking your items. If Moving Helpers are going to pack your stuff, please make sure you provide all the packing supplies and moving materials needed to pack your belongings ahead of time.

  • Gun Safe Moving

Our moving labor providers understand how to move a gun safe to and from your truck rental, which is important with such an expensive and heavy item. Gun safes are paid per gun safe, regardless of how long it takes to move it.

  • Piano Moving

Pianos — grand, upright, or another type — require careful planning to move. Luckily, our helpers understand how to move a fragile, bulky, and heavy item for customers to and from a truck rental. Pianos are paid per piano, regardless of how long it takes to move it.

  • Home Cleaning

Whether you want a fresh clean start in your new home or trying to earn your security deposit back in your previous home, our providers can provide cleaning services. You supply all the cleaning supplies, so you have control over what products are used in your home.

  • Safeload® Coverage

Despite the best plans and being extra careful, accidents can occur. That's why Moving Help offers an affordable insurance coverage option called Safeload. You can purchase as little as $4 for $500 worth of coverage, or you can purchase as much as $22 for $5,000 worth of coverage.

Frequently Asked Questions About Moving Help

  • How does using U-Haul truck rentals with Moving Help actually work?

It's simple. Reserve your U-Haul truck, then book Moving Help — either at the same time or down the road — online or on the U-Haul App.

Your Moving Helpers will contact you within 24 to 48 hours after booking your order to confirm your moving details. On moving day, pick up your truck and park it in a convenient spot. Your helpers will arrive to load your belongings during your reserved time. You drive to your destination, and if unloading is booked, helpers will there to unload.

Once the job is complete and you're 100% satisfied, release the Payment Code, return your truck, and you're done.
