Finishing the Puzzle

While many pieces of this puzzle have been discovered, many questions still need to be answered. By continuing to investigate and study these amazing animals and their behavior perhaps we will soon come close to finishing the puzzle and learning more about our world. Some of the questions which still need to be answered are:

Where do the baby snakes spend their winters and why don’t they return to the dens with their parents each year?

Why are male and female snakes different sizes?

How do female snakes choose their mates?

Why would a female snake choose to mate again rather than finding food?

Perhaps you will be the one to help answer these and the many other questions surrounding these amazing creatures.
