Age to Rent a Trailer

Getting ready for your next move? Having to decide between a truck or a trailer is just one of the questions to ask but as you begin planning your next move, there are a few more questions that come to mind to someone whom may have never rented a truck, let alone a trailer. What is the age to rent a trailer? Is there a special license required before renting a moving truck or trailer? Can there be other forms of identification used to rent moving equipment? To help answer some of those questions, we got you covered. To answer the question for a special license, the answer is no. As long as the individual who is renting a trailer is 16 years of age with a valid driver’s license can rent and 18 years of age to rent a moving truck.
