I could write a book describing my horrible experience with u-huals people. They are like show pieces who accomplish nothing, except tell you you have to do everything on the app. They are right there, but give no customer service at all. I explained that trying to do everything on the app was difficult as my vision makes it a problem for me. Yet there was no compassion or assistance to help. No other options except you have to use the app to do it! These are people standing right in front of you, watching me struggle with viewing the questions and prompts on the app and the only assistance is wanting to reach across my person and touch my phone to push me through the app process. I don't want a stranger reaching over me and saying here just do this, and then making choices on the app for me without explaining what they were even choosing, as I said I was struggling to see the presentation and prompts on the app, but they did not offer to do it on their work computer, going over the information verbally, instead they just kept up with you have to do it on the app. So I made a rental of a storage space, again having to be forced to do that through the app on the tiny screen on my phone that I was having trouble seeing. I explained, that I could not see what choices I am suppose to make, I did not think that certain parts of the choices you have to make were intuitive and clear and when confused if I was doing it right on the app, again having a terrible time visually seeing all these questions and prompts on my little cell phone. No computer screen with larger print was offered to me to use. There assistance was an annoyance as they kept pushing me through the app I was obviously, and which I had verbally stated, I was having a hard time using due to the amount of information in small print that I struggled to read. They did not care about my vision was handicapped limited and all they cared about was pushing me through the app and getting me out of their way. No customer service, no alternate assistance for someone struggling to read the fine print or struggling to figure out if I am even making the right choices on the prompts given, as I said the app is not obvious always on what you are supposed to do next, and this lack intuition on the app left me struggling and questioning am I doing it right. Even though I explained I was having this issue I was told, yes even forced to continue to use the app without an alternative option for a visually handicapped person with limitations. They did not care I had a problem, they just got frustrated with me as I was asking for assistance, an alternative, which they could not or would not offer. So I had to unload my 10' rental trailer, which I paid over a couple thousand dollars to rent, before I could check it back in. They took me to the wrong side of the building to find my storage unit and then back to the opposite side of the building where the storage unit actually was. So I got to work and unloaded the van swept it brought it around again to check it in and again, he stated, "Well you have to use the app to return you vehicle/rental trailer. I said to him you told me you could check me back in on the computer. His answer, "Well I can't we shut off the computer 10 minutes before eight which is when we are closing. Well you knew I was unloading and needing to check in my rental, and you knew I was struggling to use the app due to my visual limitations, yet they could not take a minute to tell me you needed me to check out to do it before a certain time because you were shutting you computers off??? So now all you can do is tell me to do it on the app again, alone without assistance. I am struggling to see what I am doing, I am confused if I chose the right prompts, yet they just stood there and watched, no alternate assistance for the visually handicapped. You people should be ashamed of yourselves. Then when confused I asked for help, the door was open, (not that they were offering to help me), I walked through the door to ask if I made the right choice on the app, and the rep who was not helping, just getting frustrated with me apparently, he yells at me you can't come in here. Well the door was open, how was I to know I could not walk though it, there was an open door I walk through to ask if I made the right choice on the app, and this employee yells at me get out you can't come in here. Well if I couldn't walk in for some reason he could have explained that without yelling at me like I am a criminal doing a break and entry. I mean it was an electronic door, I walked up it opened and I walked in. Where I used to work when it was after closing we shut off the electrical door with the switch and we did not leave it on and then yell at the customer when they walked up to it and it opens and lets them in. Your Customer Service is not there. Your employees are not there for us, they are there for what? Certainly not to assist your customers.

I found mice droppings in and on items. Maybe put down some more traps to help prevent that. Otherwise great experience

DONNA P | Overall ExperienceThis storage facility is not well maintained.! Door to facility constantly opens and closes. Anyone can walk in on the climate control building without a code even though you have cameras because door remains automatically open when the employees go home! There were many times i was there past 8:00 PM and i could just walk in yo the storage units! Manager does nit do a good job maintaining facility. At the unloading station there is garbage that has been there for days by the hill and no ine has bothered to pick it up! The bathroom was without toilet tissue for two weeks and garbage not picked up! I have videos and pics.
